How to Hide Accounting Segments

Toggle segments on/off to make them available or hidden from your team when they assign accounts, classes, departments, etc. to their charges

You can hide segments you do not use so they do not appear when your team assigns accounts, locations, or other details to charges.

Open Settings, then under Accounting select Settings (the Chart of accounts settings page). Here you will see your segments (EG. Department, Fund, Location, Grant, etc.). For any segment you want to hide, toggle "Use this segment" off. This keeps your dashboard focused on only the segments you need.
