# Getting Started: Employees

## This article will assist users in creating new profiles, activating their cards, and understanding how to upload receipts and modify charge details.

**Logging in for the first time**  
Upon receiving your KleerCard invite email, click the link in the email to create your password. This will allow you to login at app.kleercard.com or on the mobile app.

**Using your new cards**  
If you have a Virtual Card, you can start using it right away by accessing it in the card's section. On the other hand, if you have received a physical card, you will need to activate it by logging into your account and navigating to the Cards tab. Once there, click on the card line and enter the specific information for your card to complete the activation process.

**Download the KleerCard app**  
To start using the KleerCard app, you will need to download it from your App Store. **Update charges with receipts and account assignments**  
You can easily manage your expenses with KleerCard. By using the app, you have the convenience of uploading receipts and assigning the appropriate expense accounts for your purchases in real-time. Simply tap on the push notification when you make a purchase, or open the app at any time and select the charge you want to update.

You also have the option to update charges through the web-based portal. Just go to the Charges tab, choose the relevant charge, and upload your receipt, enter a description, and assign the expense account. This way, you can keep track of your expenses and ensure accurate accounting.
